" Me and my husband are looking for our very first house. We've been going to open houses and the number one question of the selling agent is "Do you have an agent?", or sometimes "You can only see this house if you have an appointment or an agent." This is the time when we decided that we have to get an agent. It was January 30, 2020 when me and my sister attended a free workshop at Long Beach and this is where we met Jolie Koblin. During this time, we do not have our agent yet and we are still in the process of knowing if we could get a house or not. After being pre-approved, by our lender, she suggested to contact an agent as soon to help us start looking for houses. She gave us Jolie's card and told us talk to her first. We never looked for another agent... March 1st when me and my husband met with Jolie at her office, we clicked! And there it is, everything started from there. I even requested from her if she can find us a home on or before Easter Sunday, and that was an aggressive request...We just laugh about it. She found us some houses that we described to her during our meeting. We are scheduled on weekends due to our availability and most of the open houses are scheduled Saturdays and Sundays anyway. March 7th, it was a fun house hunting the first day with her. She was well-organized specially on the path on which house comes first. If I remember it right, we went to at least 4-5 houses in one day because the sequence arrangement and how far and close the places are to each other, it was well-setup. It is really better to find an agent to help you out on asking questions about the house. So while we are looking for the house and how it was, Jolie is chatting with the seller's agent to see what are the ups and downs on the house. Or what is the history and special about it. Questions that we will never think of asking, such as the solar panel installed in a house, etc. It is nice of her to let us know right away whats good about the house that we are looking for. And actually, that is the first time we felt that the agents are looking at us as serious buyers and not just some people looking at open houses. Jolie is very professional and dedicated. With all these story, what Jolie did for me and my husband is very special. Jolie closed our very first home. Remember I mentioned above about how aggressive the request on when to find our home, it was April 16th when finally we received our home key! This is in the middle of this Covid-19 struggles and home quarantine. With the help of the seller's agent, Jolie's team, and the lender and lender's team, we got our home. Jolie did not leave us hanging even though we almost gave up. She was willing to help, anytime and all the time. Jolie found as our home, not on Easter Sunday, but 4 days after which is still a very short duration. That's how good she is. I believe that the people you meet in your lifetime are meant to be met because they will be part of your story. And Jolie Koblin will always be part of our book. We will never forget her. She's very helpful and fun to work with. She is really really nice. We still owe her a celebration due to social-distancing but we are very thankful of having her took care of us on this journey.
